Cultural Engagement
Asian Leaders Network (ALN) organizes bi-annual cultural celebrations in Waco, Texas to enhance awareness and cultural engagement of Asian holidays and festivities. In 2024, ALN collaborated with the Waco Downtown Farmer's Market to co-host the inaugural Lunar New Year Market. alongside an inaugural fall 2024 Diwali festival - the first of its level in the community in Waco history.

Diverse Vendors
ALN’s bi-annual vendor markets showcase a diverse array of vendors, with a focus on supporting local Waco and Central Texas-owned businesses, organizations, and creatives, particularly those owned/founded by Asians and Asian Americans. Art & Live Performances
ALN collaborates with various Central Texas groups to showcase a variety of live dance, music, and performing arts at local Asian cultural events. Past examples include the Year of the Dragon Lunar New Year Market featuring Lion's Dance performances by the Baylor Lion's Dance Team and Filipino cultural dance performances by Fil-Am Waco. In addition, ALN’s inaugural Diwali festival fall 2024 showcased 6 local and Texas-based South Asian Bollywood fusion dance and A Cappella teams.

Giveaways & Activities
Festival participants are encouraged to join ALN at their bi-annual cultural celebrations for free family-friendly fun, including giveaways, cultural arts & crafts activities, photo booth opportunities, and more! Thanks to sponsorships and donations from local businesses, organizations, and individuals, ALN's events are open to the public with no ticketed registration or entrance fees.
